Once the system transmits data via a wireless connection a receiver picks up the transmission and feeds it to the local server. The local server is located in a secure, heated and cooled environment. The receiver and local server commercial power supply is backed up by a backup power system. Once information has been sent to the local server the information is kept on a storage drive on the server and is also backed up to two separate offsite locations. The data is sent to the ArabWX.com website every 30 seconds and provided to interested approved parties on a real-time basis.

The data collected by ArabWX.com is shared with a variety of services including Weather Underground, WAFN 92.7 FM and the National Weather Service Co-op program.
